BEFORE YOU LOOK

Every result
is individual.

Cosmetic lip tattoo results vary from person to person. Your natural lip colour, skin, health and aftercare all affect how pigment heals, so we can’t guarantee healing or pigment retention, and some treatments need more than one session. Treat any example of lip work as a guide to a technique, not a promise of how your own lips will look.

Freshly tattooed lips often look brighter or darker than they’ll end up, because the healed colour develops gradually. If you’d like to know why, read Why Fresh Lip Colour Isn’t the Final Result.

01

Lip Blush Tattoo

Look for soft, even colour that still reads as your own lips.

05

Lip Liner Tattoo

Look for a border that follows the natural shape, defined rather than drawn on.

02

Aquarelle Lips

Look for a diffused, watercolour softness without a hard outline.

06

Dark Lip Neutralisation

Look for how darker tones have softened. Change is gradual and can’t be promised.

03

Ombre Lip Tattoo

Look for colour that grades smoothly from the centre toward the border.

07

Lip Tattoo Correction

Look for colour that reads as even and balanced. Correction often takes more than one session, and the result can’t be promised.

04

Lipstick Effect Tattoo

Look for fuller, even saturation across the whole lip.

08

Lip Tattoo Removal

Look for pigment that has been reduced. We can’t promise complete removal or a set number of sessions.

HOW TO READ — LIP TATTOO RESULTS

Five things
worth checking.

Healed or fresh. A photo taken straight after treatment shows brighter, darker colour than the result will settle to.

Light. Daylight and similar angles make a fair comparison. Strong filters don’t.

The border. A good border follows the natural lip line instead of redrawing it.

Tone. Ask whether the colour suits the person’s skin, not just whether it looks striking.

Starting point. Pale, dark or previously tattooed lips each heal differently, so compare with a starting point like your own.

Pictures can only take you so far. At a consultation we look at your natural colour, border and symmetry, plus any previous tattoo, and then talk through which approach is likely to suit you and what its limits are. Quotes are free.
