TREATMENTS — ORGANISED BY CONCERN

Start with the concern,
not the technique.

Most clients come to us describing what they see: pale lips, a border that fades, darker pigmentation or a previous tattoo that didn’t heal the way they hoped. Below, each concern leads to the cosmetic lip tattooing treatment most often discussed for it at our Melbourne studio. Your consultation then decides what actually suits you.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE — A SHORT CHECKLIST

Five things worth
knowing first.

01 — Name the concern. Pale, uneven, undefined or unwanted colour. Your own words are the best starting point.

02 — Mention any previous lip tattoo. Earlier pigment changes which options are suitable.

03 — Share relevant health information. Lip tattooing is a skin-penetration procedure, so we talk through suitability and risks before any treatment.

04 — Expect a change after treatment. Fresh pigment often looks brighter or darker; the healed colour develops gradually. Read why.

05 — Allow for another session. Results vary between individuals, and some treatments need additional sessions.

CONCERN — PALE LIPS

Lips that look washed out, uneven in tone or lacking colour without lipstick.

01 — PRIORITY TREATMENT

Lip Blush
Tattoo

Personalised lip pigmentation that enhances your natural lip colour and definition for a soft, balanced appearance. We choose the pigment for your tone and features rather than applying a set shade.

LIMITATION — HEALED COLOUR VARIES; A TOUCH-UP MAY BE NEEDED

ALSO FOR COLOUR

A soft, watercolour-style wash of colour. Results and healing differ from person to person.

Graduated colour across the lip. How the gradient settles can’t be predicted exactly.

A fuller, lipstick-style colour if you’d like to rely less on daily lipstick. Pigment retention can’t be guaranteed.

CONCERN — UNDEFINED BORDER

05
Lip Liner Tattoo

Liner and contour tattooing to define a border that has softened or faded, following your natural shape.

LIMITATION — DEFINITION SOFTENS AS IT HEALS

CONCERN — DARK PIGMENTATION

06
Dark Lip Neutralisation

A specialist approach for dark or uneven lip tones, using carefully selected pigment to balance colour.

LIMITATION — NOT A MEDICAL TREATMENT; CORRECTION ISN’T GUARANTEED

CONCERN — UNWANTED COLOUR

07
Lip Tattoo Correction

Colour correction for a previous lip tattoo that healed too warm, too cool or uneven.

LIMITATION — MORE THAN ONE SESSION MAY BE NEEDED

CONCERN — UNWANTED COLOUR

08
Lip Tattoo Removal

Reducing unwanted lip tattoo pigment when correcting the colour isn’t the right path.

LIMITATION — COMPLETE REMOVAL AND SESSION NUMBERS CAN’T BE PROMISED

SCOPE — COSMETIC LIP TATTOOING ONLY

What we
don't offer.

We don’t provide lip fillers, injectable treatments, surgical lip augmentation or medical treatment for lip conditions. If you’re considering any of these, please speak with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

BEFORE TREATMENT — SUITABILITY & HEALING

Every treatment on this page is a skin-penetration procedure. Before we begin, we go through suitability, possible risks and the health and safety information required under Victorian public health regulations, and we follow infection control throughout. Afterwards, healing and pigment retention vary from person to person.

NOT SURE WHICH — THAT’S WHAT THE FITTING IS FOR

Talk it through
before you decide.

Consultations are led by Olha Po, Founder & Certified Cosmetic Tattoo Artist. Each one looks at your natural colour, border and any previous tattoo, then talks through realistic options. There’s a free quote too. See how the consultation works or browse the portfolio.
