Lip Tattoo is a Melbourne studio dedicated to cosmetic lip tattooing. Laser hair treatment isn’t one of the services we feature. SCOPE — WHAT WE DO
We work on lip colour, lip borders and previous lip tattoos. That’s all. Keeping our attention on one feature means each consultation looks closely at your natural tone, your border, your symmetry and any earlier pigment, and then plans a personalised treatment around them.
We also don’t offer lip fillers, injectables, surgical augmentation or medical treatment for lip conditions. For those, please talk to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. You can read how we approach each appointment in The Fitting: Our Consultation Process.
CONCERN — PALE LIPS
Soft pigment that enhances your natural colour and definition. Results vary, and a touch-up may be needed.
CONCERN — UNDEFINED BORDER
Liner and contour work to bring back an edge that has softened or faded, planned around your own shape.
CONCERN — DARK PIGMENTATION
Specialist work for dark or uneven lip tone. Results vary between individuals, and it isn’t a medical treatment.
CONCERN — UNWANTED COLOUR
For previous lip tattoos you’re unhappy with. More than one session may be needed, and complete removal can’t be promised.

BEFORE YOU BOOK — OTHER TREATMENTS
If you’ve had, or are planning, any skin treatment around your mouth, mention it when you book. We’ll take it into account when we talk through suitability, and we may suggest you check with the professional who provided it.
SAFETY — SKIN PENETRATION
Cosmetic lip tattooing is a skin-penetration procedure. Before treatment we give you health and safety information in line with Victorian public health requirements, and we work with infection control throughout. Healing and pigment retention vary from person to person and can’t be guaranteed.

We choose technique and pigment for your own tone. Fresh colour often looks brighter or darker at first, and the healed colour develops gradually. Why fresh colour isn’t the final result.
