SERVICE 16 — SPECIALIST LIP TREATMENTS
Lip Tattoo is a Melbourne studio dedicated to cosmetic lip tattooing. Our specialist work centres on five areas: lip blush, natural lip colour enhancement, dark lip neutralisation, lip tattoo correction and lip tattoo removal. This page helps you see which one may suit what you notice in the mirror, before we meet in person.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE — A PRACTICAL CHECKLIST
WHAT YOU SEE — pale or uneven colour, dark pigmentation, a soft border, or an old tattoo you’re unhappy with.
HISTORY — any previous lip tattoo or treatment, even if it has mostly faded.
HEALTH — lip tattooing is a skin-penetration procedure, so we go through suitability and health information with you before any treatment.
PREFERENCE — how soft or defined you’d like your colour to look day to day.
EXPECTATIONS — results vary between individuals, and some treatments need another session.
ENHANCE — WORKING WITH YOUR OWN COLOUR
01 — PALE LIPS
Our priority treatment. Personalised lip pigmentation that enhances your natural lip colour, improves definition and creates a soft, balanced appearance.
18 — UNEVEN COLOUR
For clients who want their lips to look like their own, only more even. Pigment is chosen for your skin tone and placed with restraint, so the effect stays quiet.
06 — DARK PIGMENTATION
A specialist approach for dark or uneven lip pigmentation. It is a cosmetic treatment, not a medical one: how much your colour shifts varies, and more than one session may be needed.

UNWANTED COLOUR — PREVIOUS WORK
07 — LIP TATTOO CORRECTION
Colour correction for previous lip tattoos that have healed too warm, too cool or patchy. We assess what is already in the skin before suggesting anything, and correction often takes more than one session.
08 — LIP TATTOO REMOVAL
For reducing unwanted lip tattoo pigment. Complete removal can’t be promised, and neither can a set number of sessions, so we talk through realistic expectations first.
That depends on your natural colour, border, symmetry and any previous tattoo. We look at these together at your consultation, and a free quote is part of that conversation.
Lip tattooing isn’t painless, and how it feels differs from person to person. We’ll explain what to expect and answer your questions before you decide.
Fresh pigment often looks brighter or darker than the final result, and the healed colour develops gradually. Read why fresh lip colour isn’t the final result.
No. We focus on cosmetic lip tattooing only. For fillers, injectables or medical lip concerns, please speak with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
